Late Night with Solomon Society

You won’t want to miss the premiere event for Jewish men in Orange County. Held in the fall, Late Night attracts more than 300 men from the community for camaraderie, cuisine and comedy for a cause, honoring the Mensch of the Year.  Funds raised support the critical work of Jewish Federation Orange County in the community.

Sustaining Brotherhood with Events

Solomon Society regularly comes together for interesting, and insightful experiences and volunteer opportunities. These events are great for learning, networking, and forming friendships with each other and community members who need our support. Outings have included a trip to Kannabis Works to learn from experts about the cannabis industry and its medicinal applications to volunteering at Heritage Pointe for the ribbon-cutting and dedication of their new pavilion to building a Sukkah at the 1st Annual Sukkahfest (2021).

L’Chaim Club

The L’Chaim Club honors Solomon Society members who make a philanthropic gift of $5,000 or more in support of the Jewish Federation of Orange County Annual Campaign.

Guy’s Night Out/Night of Service

Twice a year, Solomon Society gets together for the mitzvah of giving back. Examples of these programs include volunteering at Second Harvest Food Bank and packing hygiene kits for the homeless. And, of course, these meaningful events are always followed by a nightcap at a local pub or dinner and drinks.

Progressive Dinner

It’s date night, Solomon style. Solomon members and their significant others enjoy intimate dining at each other’s homes. Start with cocktails and appetizers at one home, move to another for the main course, and wrap up an evening of laughter and conversation with wine, dessert, and coffee at a final home.

Late Night is a Great Night

We were sad to learn of the passing of comedian and actor Bob Saget who joined us for Late Night 2015, a true mensch;  Late Night 2021, with William Shatner just back from outer space with good friend Scott Siegel, Mensch of the Year; Late Night 2021 headliner David Spade with Scott Siegel & Family; and everyone's favorite Solomon, comedian & long-time Late Night emcee Elon Gold. Don't miss out on Late Night 2022, The Bar Mitzvah Year!

Why Solomon Society?

Considered the wisest of all men, King Solomon built the temple in Jerusalem. He is recognized as one of the greatest leaders of the Jewish people, a source of wisdom on religious, judicial, and national matters. King Solomon was also a skilled communicator whose Biblical writings have inspired millions throughout the ages.

Today, inspired by the example of King Solomon, generations of Jewish men in Orange County have a new opportunity to fuel their passion for community-building and affirm their compassion for our people through the Solomon Society.
